Notary Public Test Preparation - State Approved (Remote/Live via ZOOM)

Notary Public Test Preparation class (8 hours)

State-required education for new and renewing notaries. This course prepares students for the state of California exam.

Due to COVID-19 we have transitioned to State-approved notary Test preparation classes conducted online live via Zoom.
 
Online Class - Class will be conducted live on Zoom. Students will need to have their Government ID, arrive to class on time, and provide an email address to receive materials and their certificate.
 
NOTARY PUBLIC TEST PREPARATION CLASS REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION (State requirements):
  1. Student must log-on promptly, on time. Admittance to the class will close as soon as all students are brought in from the Zoom Waiting Room. Before the class begins, the Zoom admission will be closed, and no one is admitted after that time.                                                   
  2. Students must have their government photo ID ready—when a student enters the Zoom classroom, they will individually show their photo ID at the start to the instructor, after lunch, and at the end of the class. (Privacy protocols ensure that only the instructor will view the ID.)
  3. Students must be available for the entire duration of the designated training hours. Time will be tracked using Zoom.
  4. Students must be able to participate undisturbed, at a quiet location, with their video on and their face visible via video throughout the entirety of the class.
  5. If a student is absent from the virtual classroom, the student will not receive credit/certification.
EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL – The following material will be emailed to each student:
  1. California Notary Guidelines Manual (State approved Manual)
  2. Notary Public Application 
  3. Notary Forms (forms notaries use every day) 
  4. The State Exam schedule (with days, times, and locations). 
  5. *Certificate of completion
  6. *The Notary Public  Student Check List.  (This is a helpful tool designed for our students to help them complete the process to become a Notary Public)
* These items will be e-mailed the day after the completion of the course.

Examination Schedule
A few days before class, along with the educational materials, students will receive the State Examination Schedule, the Notary Public Application, and detailed information on how to register for the exam.

The State of California will have several locations, dates, and times for students who successfully complete the class to take the state exam.
